Two homes, two networks
Does it need the same Wi-Fi or the same city?
No. Each Perchi joins its own Wi-Fi and plugs into its own USB-C port, and the two pair to one workspace over the internet, or to two workspaces joined by a single-use invite. Delhi to Pune works the same as two desks in one room.
Taps and well-dones travel through the dashboard server, so both Perchis need to be online for them. Everything else on each Perchi works offline: the face, Phone Nap, the projects, the streak and the clock all run on the device, and blocks finished offline sync later. Pairing takes about a minute per Perchi from a browser, Bluetooth on a laptop or Android phone, Wi-Fi plus a code on an iPhone; the pairing card in the box links the two.
The well done: a proud nod on the linked Perchi when a block ends, distinct from the blush of a tap.
In a room, each Perchi draws the others as dots along the bottom of its screen; the dot changes as a friend starts or finishes a block.

A focus room holds up to four Perchis. Each shows the others' state as dots along the bottom edge (idle, in a block, done today) and a shared daily tally of blocks and focus minutes. Rooms are created in the dashboard and joined by invite, with the room code or a pasted link.
Only that state is shared, never what an app shows. The Focus page in the dashboard adds a streak leaderboard of every Perchi in the workspace and the daily and weekly report cards, so two people preparing for the same exam can see the week add up. Can I add a third Perchi later?
Yes. A link is between two Perchis, but a focus room holds up to four, so a third or fourth Perchi joins the room by invite from the dashboard and shows up as a dot on everyone's screen. Any Perchi bought later works with the pair; the pairing card in the box only saves you the first setup.
Do both Perchis have to be on one account?
